Hi there!
Last weekend my youngest was getting frustrated with her bike. "I can't do it!" she kept saying, close to tears.
So I tried something simple. "You can't do it... yet."
That tiny word changed everything. Her shoulders relaxed. She tried again.
When our kids are struggling, that little word "yet" creates space for growth. It says this moment isn't forever. It's just where we are right now.
The same goes for us parents. On the days when you think "I'm not handling this well," try adding "yet" to the end. Because you're growing too.
Until next week,
Maggie
