Hey there!

Maybe you're replicating your childhood bedtime stories word for word. Maybe you've vowed never to say certain phrases your parents used. Maybe you're somewhere in the complicated middle.

Here's the truth many of us need to hear: you're allowed to build something new.

With my three kids, I've kept the pancake Saturdays from my childhood but changed how we handle emotions. You can honor what worked without repeating what didn't. You can heal your own wounds while raising your children. You can make mistakes and course-correct without shame.

The bravest parenting often happens when we consciously choose which traditions to keep and which patterns to break. When we parent from awareness rather than autopilot.

You don't need perfect clarity on all of it. You just need to keep showing up with intention. And you're doing that already… just by reading this.

Take care,

Maggie
